As we come together to celebrate this unique event, we are committed to promoting responsible water use and environmental stewardship. By signing this Water Conservation Commitment Charter, we pledge to:

  • We will use water responsibly and sparingly during the festival, avoiding excessive water consumption in activities like cleaning, food preparation, and general use.

  • We will raise awareness about the importance of water conservation among festival participants and attendees through educational materials, workshops, and informational sessions.
  • We will encourage participants, vendors, and partners to adopt sustainable practices, such as using water-efficient appliances, reducing waste, and recycling.
  • We will actively engage in initiatives to protect and preserve the natural water sources in Lesotho, including rivers, lakes, and reservoirs, by supporting conservation organizations and clean-up efforts.
  • We will adhere to all local regulations and guidelines related to water usage and environmental protection, respecting the authority of local authorities and park rangers.
